Our Blood Oath: A New Manga Debuted in Shonen Jump Magazine

Last November 2019, Kazu Kakazu published a one-shot in Weekly Shonen Jump titled Seiyaku no Aka (Red Pledge) that gained a loud and enthusiastic approval from the readers. On September 14 this year, it returned as a brand new series titled Our Blood Oath.

The story started with a young man seemingly chased by some fearsome creature. Hiding within the bushes, the young man took a break in order to catch his breath. Just when he started to think that he’s safe, he turned around and found that the creature chasing him caught up to him. The creature has an appearance similar to that of a sheep. But the young man knows that this sheep is not a normal one, because as it approaches him, it was sucking the blood of a cat in its mouth; it was clearly a monster. Tired and frozen with fear, the young man can only cower when the monster leaped to attack him. Thankfully, a pair of siblings jumped in to save him, and then eliminated the monster in the process, in a very quick manner. Who are these siblings? And what are they?

Kazu Kakazuku launches a new manga in the 41st issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump that tells the tale of vampire siblings and the oath that binds them. The first 2 chapters can now be read for free on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus platforms.
